We can do it! It’s important for all of us to keep our feeders clean

The Spring Equinox is March 20. As many of our backyard birds return to Minnesota and enter the mating/nesting season it is important to offer clean seed and water.  Supplemental feeding has many benefits including:

  • rapid feather growth
  • improved immunity
  • improved body condition
  • reduced stress

With the increasing activity at our feeders and it is very important to keep feeders and birdbaths clean.  Clean feeders filled with quality seed will help keep mating pairs healthy and strong. Clean feeders will help reduce the spread of disease such as conjunctivitis.
