Explore the advantages of birding by bike while searching for birds along the water bodies and natural areas of southeast Minneapolis. The route follows Minnehaha Creek toward Mni Owe Sni (Coldwater Spring) and Fort Snelling State Park, both excellent birding destinations.

Guided Birdwatching for People with Mobility Challenges – In Celebration of National Birdability Week
Location: Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, Bloomington, MN
Celebrate National Birdability Week with a fall birdwatching outing at the refuge. Watch for birds around the feeders, adjacent fields and nearby overlook. The outing welcomes birders with a range of mobility challenges, including those who use wheelchairs, walkers or canes, as well as those who walk more slowly. All birders are welcome.
